Leaf Rubbing Art

what you need:

1. Real leaves (dry and clean)

2. white paper

3. crayons (with paper peeled off)

   Steps:

   1. place a leaf under the paper.

   2. Gently rub the side of a crayons over the paper to reveal the leaf’s shape and veins.

   3. repeat with different leaves and colors.

On a crisp fall morning, a 5 year old gathers colorful leaves and acorns from the yard. She pretends the leaves are “ magic wings” that help her woodland friends fly home before winter. She builds tiny “houses” from twigs and moss, naming each one after an animal.
